Foxconn Introduces Bamboo PC Case

Well, it mightbe slightly more eco-friendly than a case with a plastic front, but it’s definitely a lot more interesting. Unwilling to let Dell’s Studio Hybrid take all the treehugger glory, Foxconn has put out two bamboo-fronted desktop PC cases.

The new cases definitely have an eye-catching look, and if you’re looking for an easy way to make your computer blend in (at least from the front) with other bamboo or wood furniture, then this might just be right up your alley.

The case is part of Foxconn’s Forest Series of cases. The microATX case is going for just over fifty bucks, which really isn’t too bad, considering how much Dell charges for their Studio Hybrid casing. For a couple of bucks more, you can also get Foxconn’s bamboo-encased ATX case, which is already for sale:
