Samsung introduced a new addition to their single function color laser lineup, the CLP-775nd, offering faster print speeds, a new 600 MHz dual core processor and a larger standard memory capacity.
The CLP-775nd will be replacing the CLP-770nd, a single function printer that received high praise from us during our review last year.
Like the CLP-770nd, the CLP-775nd will offer a 500-sheet paper tray with a 100-sheet multipurpose tray, automatic duplexing, a monthly duty cycle of 120,000 pages and built-in networking. Print speeds have increased to 35 ppm over the CLP-770nd’s33 ppm but the print resolution will stay the same with an effective output of 9600 x 600 dpi.
The CLP-775nd’s control panel and four-color toner replacement system (CMYK) looks nearly identical to what we saw with the CLP-770ndand the CLP-775nd is also Energy Star certified.
The Samsung CLP-775nd is available now through authorized vendors for the suggested retail price of $1071.99 with a minimum listed price of $749.99.
